A Kiwi born couple, we have both traveled and lived overseas in the past but settled in Nelson to raise a family.

We first fell in love with Gelato whilst traveling through Europe. We were lucky enough to sample the "real deal" in Italy.....we loved it so much we brought a Gelato business!!!

People are always happy to see us! It's the perfect business for us, we love being out and about amongst all the great events the region hosts throughout the year.

Living in the Nelson/Tasman region is amazing with the abundance of local fresh fruit and berries that are used by Gelato Roma, were proud to be giving you a deliciously fresh product.

We are a young at heart family! We enjoy taking advantage of all the fantastic outdoor opportunities the region has to offer.
